Vacation/School/Toro y Moi

well i'm leaving for kenyon tomorrow. i have everything packed up and ready. i just have to finish the questions for this 400 page book we were assigned. i probably won't be blogging for like a month and were not aloud to take cell phones. this should be fun. after i come back i have upward bound but i plan on get a job so i can get stuff for next school year. fort hayes XD. well above are a few pics and a video of one of my favorite artist toro y moi. he started this experimental style of music and i liked it the first time i heard it. the video is great. i love the art work and the simplicity of the video. i kind of want to be like toro when i get older.

Where The Wild Things Are

i'm actually listening to "worried shoes" by karen o. this song is from the where the wild things are soundtrack. i loved the movie and the song reminds me of it everytime i listen to it. where the wild things are is actually one of my favorite movies because when i see it, it reminded me of childhood and the happiness i had doing anything, even the simplest things like running through the neighborhood. this movie is..it just feels like home! when i was at school and i felt out of place or anything this movie would bring me back. i also posted below another amazing song from the soundtrack, "hideaway". well i was just packing up clothes and things for my trip on sunday. i'm leaving to stay on a college campus for 3 weeks. i'll be doing homework and getting a chance to feel what college is like. hopefully my roomate will be cool and i know i'll have fun. well i have to go get ready for my grandma's banquet so .

Silvia by Miike Snow

this is my favorite song at the moment..i listen to this just about everyday at least twice. i just watched the video for it..it's kind of weird and towards the end it's kind of scary how everyone stands around the fire but overall the song is great and miike snow is a very strange group so i was expecting this kind of video..they're cool though and weird in a positive way.

The Beginning of Fun

this summer is going to be cool. i get to stay in a college dorm so hopefully my roomate is cool! i'm moving into old navy lol! they're cool. i think later on i might get some sort of a summer job so i can pick up some stuff for next school year. i could only dream of the first day of school since i'm going to fort hayes. i always wanted to go there and the kids are amazing..it's just the idea that all the kids are talented in there art (actors, dancers, fashion designers, photographers etc..) and we could learn from each other. i like vans and skinny jeans are kind of cool. i like to use ducktape, you can use it for almost anything. this is weird but i never really had a bestfriend before. i have friends but i always feel like i don't relate to any of them. i wish sometimes i had a bestfriend and some of my other friends would throw me a suprise party and i would love it..right now i'm in love with this song called "silvia" by miike snow, he is freaking amazing! well be cool and have fun with life XP

Many Moons

i love this video. i love janelle as an artist and her style is aazing, but the ending is my favorite, when the android cindi mayweather dies and her eyes turn black..idk the whole story is interesting. i haven't blogged in a while but exciting news i'm going to career center at fort hayes and there's a huge possibilty that i will go there fulltime. at my old school i was made fun of which really hurt. i felt like being different was a curse but normal is boring!! anyways i'm excited about next year casue i have been dreaming about going to this school for the longest. anyways thank gosh for the summer..let's see, time to step it up i guess as far as style goes.
