so right now i'm really digging these shoes, the problem is i have no idea where to get them. especially the first two pair, their called "toms" and they are like the coolest thing to me. i want a pair before school starts back. i excited i'm going to performing art school next year, now i'm working on these two essays due on wednesday..it's cool since this is the last week of upward bound and everything!

so, i found this song on itunes and i downloaded it..this song is amazing i listen to this song at least twice everyday. coldplay is one of my favorite bands and they kind of have the coldplay sound. anyway i have been working out and results are coming in..next week is my last week of summer programs and then i'm free to sleep in whenever..maybe a job or something but life is good right now. new friends are cool too!

well i've been listening to leslie since "diamond girl" hit the radio..he has a great sound and i respect him as an artist. he is also pretty smart too! i had no idea, but i usually watch artist interviews on youtube and i came across his. he went to college at harvard university. "academics are very important even if you want to do music", leslie said in the interview. anyway i posted one of my favorite leslie soings..it's pretty solid, cassie features in the song. well this week has been really busy, i had gym and upward bound 5 days a week. meaning i have two gym classes for 3 weeks 5 days a week. i have rana total of 16 miles this week. i have been working out to, i've been very sore. on the brightside i watched alot of artist interviews including janelle monae, she's so outspoken yet calm at the same time, she is an amazing artist. i recently got an ipd nano complete with a vid cam! i downloaded lots of new music on thursday! i have been listening to it ever since! i also auditioned for this big production that they hold here every year called "The Adventures of Pan: A Hip-Hop Musical"! it is so much fun, alot of hip hop dancing which i love,but the audition today was pretty cool, we did a few combo's but this year it is a possibility that i will have an acting scene. i was so excited so if you come and see it keep an eye open for me! also downloaded childish gambino's new album "culdesac" it's good!!

so i was just googling around and i knew donald glover was hilarious. he's a comedian and actor! i seen him on comedy central a while back, but you also might have seen him in the "band of outsiders" spring collection. i found this video and i had no idea he sang or rapped but he's good! his band name is "childish gambino". i have been searching other new artists and i liked bon iver's song "blood bank". by the way mark ronson's "bang bang bang" is my favorite song/music video right now! coldplay is like my favorite band though. and little dragon, sam sparro, and daniel merriweather have great soulful voices! they all are english or from the uk but they sing with such soul and hearth..it's amazing!

so i'm finally back home, the past two weeks have been fun and i miss my new friends alot. the dorm was hot at night and the bed was uncomfortable. my roomate was cool though and we went to the beach and i took pottery classes twice a week. i made two bowls, there really cool. we read two books and wrote at least 6 essays. i feel like i've grown since before i went. i'm going to miss those corn fields, the sunny days, and the food was amazing. the hiking i didn't like though, overall it was a great experience. now it's time to get a job, i was thinking about the mall, like pacsun but maybe just a restaraunt. anyway i just heard this yesterday and i love the song. the video is great, like the beginning. q-tip is rapping in it,also he sounds great with the song. new boyz and power rangers are in the video too!
